Dark Dream Empty Dark Dream

Drops of rain fell down from the skies, hitting the ground roughly and turning the dust into mud and the mud into rivers of water. Bare feminine feet pressed to the ground, slowly walking along the muddy path. Her feet and up to her ankles were covered in mud. Her legs were exposed up to her shins and covered her knees, which was where the cut of the dress ended. It fluttered roughly from the merciless wind blowing around her. It was red, but a very dark red, almost like blood. It had, very well, shown the perfection of her feminine curves of her thighs and her waist. Her stomach was quite strong, showing that she did in fact work out. One of the straps of her dress fell over her shoulder, exposing more of her cleavage though the she was more concerned about the rain and wind than about exposed body in a sexual way. Her arms crossed over her chest, the perfect slender fingers rubbing against her shoulders as if she was trying to spread some heat across her body. Her eyes were empty. The beautiful green eyes seemed hollow inside, but only for instant, since soon after they had a warm look, despite all the cold she felt. Her nose was straight; her lips were quite small, although they, along with her cheeks, were a pale red.

A warm humming tone bloomed through the atmosphere. It actually helped her with feeling a little warmer, though the wind was still slapping her body. Her hair whipped roughly against her shoulders and upper back, occasionally slapping her forehead and face with it's darkened red strands. Her teeth chewed on her lower lip as she walked through the street. The clouds in the sky did not light up with all the falling rain. In fact, they darkened further and grew heavier, only for the rain to fall harder, thus, her eyes roamed around, seeking a shelter. The street was populated with houses of old Victorian styles. The lights were all switched on, but as soon as her sight fell on the first house to the right, the lights switched off, denying her from sheltering there. She turned her sight to the left, only to meet the same destiny. Her sight lowered down to the ground, only feeling some comfort from the deep gentle humming tone. She continued her way, with the lights turning off on her, same for the Victorian street lamps. Some hair strands fell down the side of her face, only to add more of a hurtful look on her face. Her shivers plagued her body further, only with a start of violin music playing. The music was quite warm, and calming bits; along with the humming tone.

Suddenly, more shivers began to strike down her spine as the humming tone grew thinner, and sharper. The violin music grew faster, the lights of the lamps and houses began to turn off in front of her instead of just behind her. The street wasn't just dark; it was nearly pitch black now with the rain falling heavier and the humming tone exchanging entirely into a hissing noise. The hissing was far from comforting, and the violin music was just the same. It hurt her now rather than helped her through the hard time.

Shadows began to spread up to her sides, but they weren't her shadows. They weren't supposed to exist. Only the shadows of the moon, which brightened in the sky between the heavy clouds, were to exist. She was terrified by the shadows. The hurt and pain she felt only grew by her misfortune. Screaming sounds from all directions around her started to up rise, frightening her even more.

Shadows surrounded her entire body now. The tears that streamed down from her eyes hit the ground like ink, creating waves in the mud. The dark brown color of the mud had now turned red, spreading like spider webs and changing, mixing the blood and the mud together to only help the overwhelming fear she felt to grow more and more.

The horrific scene grew bloodier once she opened her eyes. She could see nothing but pitch black. Her eyes were no longer there. Instead, they were like two bleeding stones with drops of blood falling from the corners of her eyes instead of tears. She felt something scratching along her skin, spreading pain throughout her, along with cold and fear to overcome her body. Her lips parted for a scream to come out. Nothing came out but silence…

Suddenly, the young woman sat up. Her eyes were back to normal and she was no longer wearing a dress. Her hands held the sheets of the bed a little too tight as her chest bounced up and down. She was in her room, safe and sound. It was dark, but not as dark. She wore a black top, loose around her body to make her feel comfortable. Her figure was the same: small, pale skin, green eyes. Her cheeks were quite red; her hair was falling straight and reaching below her shoulders length. Tears were still on her cheeks although she sniffed and moved her hand over her face, wiping off all the tears, as they continued falling. She was sobbing, as if she was still in her dream. Her body slowly curled and her knees moved up to her chest, dropping down the sheets from her body. Her arms wrapped around them, calming her self down as she leaned to rest her head on her knees. She only wore black panties beneath, though she revealed nothing of her body even in her sleep. "It's just another dream…" she whispered to herself, trying to convince herself everything was alright…
